I had an absolute blast going to Twilight on opening night at midnight!. Yes, I was "ONE OF THOSE." In fact, I went over to the theater at 5:30 (just to check on the status) and the line was forming already. I couldn't believe it. So, I came home to make sure the kids were ok with Daddy and then went to stand in line. Well, I guess I sat in line (with my camp chair and all!) The line went outside pretty early on, and I didn't want to be in the cold, and I wanted everyone who was coming with us to get a good seat. SO...I waited in line for nearly 6 hours. What the....I know....it was actually REALLY fun.

We brought games, treats, and wore our AWESOME t-shirts. I laughed hard and I LOVED the movie.
Some of the girls that were in line got a little CRAZY and started butting. I was laughing at the craziness that I saw. One girl (look at the picture below, she is the one with the pink pants at the bottom left of the picture) started FREAKING out about people saving spots so she butt to almost the front of the line, and as you can imagine people behind her got REALLY mad. I tried to stay out of it, but the people-watching entertainment was PRICELESS!
As for the movie...I really did love it. I wasn't one of those people that got mad at the changes. In fact, I expected them. I honestly LOVED every minute of it. I thought the scenery was beautiful and oh my gosh, Bella's Lullaby was so beautiful. I added the song on a playlist so everyone could hear it. The first song is the one I'm talking about from the movie. The second one is from the soundtrack. I like it too, but I like the movie one better. I really like piano music because my mom plays the piano and I just LOVED it. So, you can make fun of me if you want...but I'm totally going to see it AGAIN!!!

Looks like it was so much fun! I'm jealous of the shirts, I must admit! I won't make fun of you if you go see it again, I'm heading to the movie theater again today! Wish you were here with me. Hope to see you guys soon.
OK--I'll try once again to leave you a comment...my computer has a virus (I THINK) & it keeps re-starting all the time BY ITSELF. I HATE IT! It did that last time mid-comment. DARN!
This post makes me even MORE excited to see this movie!! & I LOVE the lullaby--I'm SO glad you put it on your playlist. It reminds me of listening to Court play around on the piano. I LOVE IT!! What a fun night--you look like you have made some awesome friends that you have a blast with! I need to be better about doing stuff like this for MYSELF! You're a great example to me!!
I hope you have a GREAT day!! Love ya, AD =D
PS...call me when you have a free sec. I have a question for ya & I tried your cell phone & laughed SOO hard at your message!! I hope it's not permanent, too!!
Ha Ha! You are the best! I'm so excited to see the movie! I was supposed to go with Eryn over Thanksgiving, but she just couldn't wait. She went and waited in line with the rest of the die hard fans. Hopefully we'll see you in Holden over Thanksgiving. It's been a while! Take care. -Asher
I love what a fan you are. I can't believe you waited in line that long. CRAZY!
That looked like so much fun! I still haven't seen it. My young women loved it. You are a TRUE fan. They should give you something for that. I almost drove down to watch it with you but you know 3 1/2 hour drive, work, fam, all the famous excuses. We are going your way on Friday to the Temple, I will think of you while I'm there.
I always knew you were a Kindred Spirit! :) Twilight was great! If Josh wasn't gone ALL the time I would have seen it a second time! :D Soon...Edward I will see you soon! *sigh*
:D So fun, huh? One of the perks about being in Vegas is that there are like thousands of theaters- since every casino/hotel has its own. So we only waited for about an hour and had OK seats for the midnight showing...but I have itching to see it again ever since! I don't understand why people are so critical of the movie? Everyone should know that it CANT be the same as the book, it just doesn't work that way! I loved it, Loved it, LOVED IT!!!!
Wow, we only had to wait two hours for the midnight show, and we got to be in our seats the whole time. I am already planning on seeing it again with my sisters once we get back to Utah. Wasn't Edward so dreamy??? I loved Jasper, too. C-U-T-E!!!
