Londyn is officially a water LOVER...she hopped into the bucket at the primary water party. (It was supposed to be the bucket the kids filled their water guns in)...ummmm she thought it was her personal swimming pool. Oaklyn was being shy, but Connelly had a blast.

Oaklyn is growing up so fast. Doesn't she look so grown up in these pictures. I HAVE A FIRST GRADER...WoW.
I am officially a prOcRASTINAtor. Ok if you know me well, you know that I work best under pressure. But, I now officially have about 10 days before I start teaching at Dixie College (2 classes), and I am NOT even close to being ready. What a slacker I am. (I am REALLY excited though) I guess I got a Master's degree, why not use it right?
My cute little niece Gracie got released from the NICU on Sunday. I'm so happy she has done so well. What's up with having NICU babies in my family? AYLA, GRACIE, WYATT, and KAITLYN. It makes me VERY grateful for modern medicine.
I just need to say something quickly...I LOVE GREAT FRIENDS...who care about each other. (ok...you know who you all are I hope).
During the chaos I started my new "thrifty" blog and I think people really like it. Everyone who has talked to me about it has nothing but great things to say. That makes me feel good.
My photography has started to pick up a bit, and that also makes me feel good. If you haven't been on my photo blog lately, check it out. I've been lucky to take some darling pictures lately.
I also got a new calling. I'm the Stake Sports information specialist. I'm excited.
Oh, and along that same subject, Dan and I are going to be playing on a co-ed softball team. That might be interesting, but honestly I am REALLY excited. I loved to play "back when" so hopefully the skills will come back...will they?? Is it like riding a bike...I doubt it. lol.
A few things I'm toggling with: Should I get a mini van? (Something about pushing a button and doors open and shut is VERY tempting). Should I go private on my blog? Give me your opinion.
In case you are wondering...only 78 days before HALLOWEEN!
Crazy lady...OUT.

OH my gosh - consider yourself lucky that you are only mildly crazy. If I was trying to to everything you are I would be locked in an institution! Crazy would not begin to cover it! HOW DO YOU DO IT?
As for the mini-van - we've had ours for 4 years now and have absolutely loved it. It has been SO convenient for toting around our gaggle of hoodlums. We are just now to the point where we are ready to take the next step up to a suburban...4 carseats and a fat chocolate lab - it's getting a little squishy in the van! :)
I'm loving your All Things Thrify blog...fun and fresh ideas! Keep it up!
Finally, I'd like to know your reasons for wanting to go private...I've tossed the idea around myself. I'm curious as to why most people take the plunge.
Haha..your craziness is just one of the many reasons why I LoVe Brooke!!
Ok Brooke, first thing..... I love all of you blogs! If you decide to make any of them private, PLEASE don't forget to invite me. Second.... we are trying to decide on the whole mini van thing. I LOVE my suv but the whole button thing does sound fabulous! THIRD.....when you are in SLC I need you to take pictures for my family! Fourth...have you heard of this brand? http://www.littlemissmatched.com/ So many of the things make me think of something you would decorate with , or dress your girls in. Good luck Crazy Lady!!
I loved this post!!! As you know I've felt a little crazy lately myself & as you also know I COMPLETELY relate to the PROCRASTINATOR in you!!! It's definitely in the GENES!!
Oaklyn DOES look grown up!!! She is going to LOVE first grade!!! It's soo fun watching them learn to read!!! I love her outfit in the photos!!!
Gracie looks SO GREAT!!! It looks like she even has some little CHEEKS!!! What a blessing that she's done so well!!
Mini-van---hmmm....as you know I have sworn NEVER to become a "mini-van mom", but I will agree with you that a button to open & shut doors would be a wonderful thing for me! I'm constantly having to remind my kiddos to close the doors!! All my friends that have them LOVE them. I think the really dark silver ones look really nice!
I can't wait for Halloween either!! I will be better prepared this year for sure. I need to start planning now for costumes!!! Thanks for the reminder that it's coming up soon!!! ;) haha
