FREE mission Tortillas at ALBERTSONS

I told a few people that I would try and post deals when they came up. SO, bear with me, but I had to post this deal.

Mission tortillas (which I buy anyway, since my kids LIVE off of quesadillas), are on sale for 97 cents (you must have the Albertsons coupon from their AD)

THEN...go to THIS link and sign up for a free membership at "mission"...and you will get a coupon for $1.00 off.

TADA...FREE TORTILLAS! *Remember, you can print that coupon TWICE by pressing your back button and refreshing your page. Also, if you have more than one computer, you can sign up with another e-mail address and print 2 coupons per computer.

Good luck! Also, I love to hear back from people if they do the deals I post about! It's kind of a "reward" for me! :)

Lots of things to blog about!

We've had a busy couple of weeks. We had such a fun weekend. Oaklyn had a dance recital and she did GREAT! It was fun watching her shake her little hips. Her grandparents on both sides came to watch her. She was very proud. (So was I, let's be honest). Dan's family was here all weekend...why didn't I take pictures??? We love hanging with them. We went to Mesquite for crab legs, played games (hot mice, as Max calls it!), and had a peanut butter science project by me (I wanted to know what people liked better, SKIPPY or JIF...random I know...I guess I was feeling spontaneous). JIF won...BARELY.

A few weeks ago, we also got to hang out with my long, lost friend Alicia and her cute kids Elli June and Taj. We miss living by these guys so bad. It was so fun to talk and reminisce for a few minutes. This is a friend that I honestly cried like a baby when they moved away. I love it when we get to see them.

A leprechaun came to our house again and used our toilets on St. Patrick's Day. (we found his "green" clues in our toilets). The kids looked EVERYWHERE, but we never found him. He did leave a few little surprises for the kids though: some clover sunglasses, green silly string, and some treats.

I've been busy finishing up a few projects lately. I made 12 tutus for Oaklyn's Dance studio. I made bows for the team also, and I made a few pillows for my front room. I guess I was feeling crafty!

Easter was fun, and the kids had a blast coloring eggs, going to the Easter egg hunts...etc. We tried REALLY hard to teach the kids about Christ's resurrection so that they would learn why we celebrate Easter.

As usual BUNKO is always a fun part of my month. We get together with 11 of my very best, spunky, hilarious, beautiful friends, and laugh for two hours straight. Thanks guys for the fun, as usual. Thanks Angie for letting us spoil you for a few minutes. (She is my next door neighbor who is having TWINS!)

Londyn has decided that sidewalk chalk is her favorite treat. I can't stop her from EATING it! She has also decided to CLIMB up on everything. It stresses me out. I'm so worried she's going to fall off the table, but I cannot keep her off of it.

AND....lastly the bottom right hand corner of the collage is a picture of my latest deal. At Target, I got 15 boxes of fruit snacks for 53 cents each. I also got the Johnson's and Johnson's baby lotion and head-to-toe baby wash for 44 cents each.
I WAS VERY PROUD. The cashier was kind of pissed at me...target isn't the most "coupon savy" place in town. BUT...it was worth it.

Sorry for the randomness! I wanted to catch up on the latest and greatest of the fam.

Rook...a family tradition!

Rook is a family tradition in Dan's family, and we love to play. Rook goes back four generations of Ulrichs until now...Londyn is the fifth generation Rook player! She had a BLAST!!! :) What a little cutie. On a more personal connection with the game, I can honestly say that playing Rook has created some of the greatest memories of mine in the Ulrich family. Winning streaks, losing streaks, Dad's fun naming of the teams, laughing, learning a million lessons (the hard way), re-deals, Dad getting all 4 tens in the widow (at Max's baby blessing), and just plain, good, hard F...U...N!!!! Thanks for playing with us guys!
P.S. Mike and Jess....you have GOT to LEARN...just let it happen. :)
Ty and Whit...start preparing now.

Cadbury VS Bird EGGS

My friend Angie watched Connelly and Londyn for me while I went to a meeting and she told me this story that just cracked me up.

They were playing in the back yard and all the sudden Connelly yelled EEEWWWWW!!! She went over to where he was and there was a robin's egg on the ground oozing all over. She asked him what he did to the egg, and he said he poked it. He said, "There's no CHOCOLATE in there!!!"

I guess they do look similar, but I'm sure you can tell what Connelly is obsessed with right now. EASTER CANDY.

Flashback...WILLOWBROOK 89!!!

I came across this picture and I started laughing out loud because it brought back so many memories. This was by far the best year of my college experience. What a BLAST we had.

Here are a few things we did that year:
Stole a scarecrow from Applebees, and got caught
Kissed A MILLION boys between all of us!
SKIPPED a ton of class because of Katie's "Holidays"
Painted our toenails a million different colors, because of Katie's influence
Screened a million phone calls for each other
Played referee for Liz because of THREE boys showing up to see her ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
Laid out in our swimming suits in our front room in the middle of WINTER
Taking pictures in towels...with DAN!
D A M N D A N M A N (is that right?)
Got lots of lobotomies (yes, this is an inside joke)
Went to Vegas several times
Spent HUNDREDS of hours talking
Sang as a group at FHE
Created "modern art" AKA piles of clothes
Watched Mindit sleep on the couch with her Nutrition book on her chest.
Snickered as Jaime got mad about "someone" (ME) drinking out of the water pitcher in the fridge
Ate at Denny's a lot
Watched Christie tutor EVERYONE (and end up making out with all the boys afterward)
Went to the cat graves in Kanab with Liz
Liz and I met our hubbies that year
Hearing Jaime talk about being the DOORMAT
Jamie making those chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips
Living next to Jody, Amanda, Emily, Danie, Stacia, and Whitney.
Early morning drill team and aerobics
Having someone break our front window with a snowball and John Dalton trying to get us to pay for it.
Making each other Sunday dinners (and inviting boys to come eat with us)
Playing catch with Katie in the parking lot.
Mindy working out at the gym 24-7
Mindy doodling our names all the time
Taking a MILLION pictures
and LAUGHING our heads off for a year straight.

Wow...what a year.

The latest DEAL...are you sick of these yet?

Ok, so you probably think I'm a TOTAL nerd, but I had to share the latest coupon deals

#1 Post cereals (select varieties) are on sale at Albertsons...and YESTERDAY 3/29 there were $1.00 off 2 boxes of post cereal coupons in the paper.

SO, if you buy 5 boxes of post cereals for $1.57 each(sale price)
(1.57 x 5 boxes of cereal=7.85)

-$2.00 (use 2 coupons)FROM SUNDAY PAPER YESTERDAY

=5.85

BUT...get a coupon for $5.00 off your next shopping order...SOOOO it's like spending $.17 per box!!! The best way to do these deals is to use that $5.00 off coupon in your next transaction to get 5 more boxes of cereal...plus get ANOTHER $5.00 off coupon....and so on.
(Please remember that each 5 boxes must be in a separate transaction to get the coupon...I'm pretty sure). To those of you who are DEBATING on whether or not you should get the Sunday paper or not...this is a testament that you should! LOL.

ALSO...yesterday in the paper there were $1.50 off Kraft salad dressing coupons also. This dressing is only $1.58 at Wal-Mart....so it ends out costing $.08 per bottle...YES 8 cents!

Forgive my randomness, but I just had to show off my little nephew and niece that were both born in the last couple months. AREN'T they both DARLING!!!!! My sister took the picture of little Gunner (the one of the left...obviously the one without the bow!), and I got to take the picture of Ayla. I was lucky enough to get to snuggle both these babies in the past couple weeks.

Connelly's Pictures

Ok. So, I know I'm biased as his mom. I know that my view of my little stud is warped because ALL parents think their kids are DARLING. BUT...you have to admit, he is one good lookin' kid! He's so easy to photograph! What do you think?

What a fun BABY....mine isn't one anymore :(

My friend Brooke had her baby and I was so excited to take some pictures of her. Oh my gosh...she was so cute. It makes me wonder when the time will be right for us to try again. Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm really enjoying Londyn right now though. She's growing up so fast! Pretty soon I won't be able to call her "the baby" anymore. That makes me pretty sad.

This is my way of documenting Londyn's hair growth since we moved to St. George in July. WOW...it's grown A LOT! Start at the bottom right and work your way along the rows until the top left! (Obviously!)To those of you who don't know. We buzzed her head in July. It was REALLY hard, but I think we can say it was a success. Her hair has grown like a weed since.

Things have been really busy around here lately. I finally feel like things are calming down a little bit. Last week was one of those weeks that I felt like I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I hate weeks like that. This week was much better. With the kids having spring break off, they have played outside together for 5 days straight. Londyn took THREE baths in one day because she was so filthy. I kept thinking, I'll get her clean and keep her inside...ummmm...no way did that work. She wanted to be outside with the others.

I've started couponing, and I LOVE IT! It is really fun to get groceries for so cheap. For a minute though, I was absolutely obsessed, and it feels good to now understand that I don't have to go to EVERY store for EVERY sale! To those of you who might be wondering about it, it is worth it. Is it time consuming? Yes. But I think it is worth the time.

I'm taking a lot more pictures lately and it's such a fun hobby for me. It's one of those things that I really enjoy. I'm even having a lot of fun teaching a few friends how to use photoshop. It's fun for me to keep a log of my work on my photo blog. You can look at it HERE if you want.

I finally got back on top of the house cleaning just for it to jump away from me again! Honestly, how do you all do it!?!? This is one area that I really just can't grasp! How the hay do you keep your houses clean all the time! It's exhausting to me, and I feel like my house is NEVER clean. I finally get all the laundry folded and put away just to find that three more loads have stacked up in the mean time. O'well. I guess I'll just keep plugging a long on this shortcoming of mine.

Other than that, life is speeding by. Dan stays extremely busy and I hope I help him as much as he needs. The office can be a stressful job (I know first hand). He seems to "roll with the punches" and doesn't get worked up over little things. He works really hard. I love that I have a husband like that! Oaklyn broke her slinky today and she said, "My daddy will fix it. He can fix ANYTHING!" It's true. He really can.

Oh, and one more addition to the family. CLIFF. Dan is in love again. (This equals 15 minutes of weakness on my part by the way). I just wish he'd give me the attention he gives this beast! j/k...kind of.

Oh yeah and another blog worthy thing is that Dan had his first cavity ever last week. YES, his FIRST. Not a bad one, he didn't even have to be numbed. Me on the other hand had a flubber-face for 5 hours.

I guess that's all for now.
