Moving...

Cedar City has been our home for the last six years. I have a lot of mixed emotions about this week. Dan and I love Cedar City. We will miss all of our friends here. We'll miss having neighbors that are basically all our age and are going through the same phase of life that we are in. Now with that being said, I am really excited to move on. I'm excited to find a house that I can paint the walls in! :) I am excited to get out of the "college" stage of life that I feel like we've been trapped in for too long!

We'll be in LIMBO for the next few weeks until we can decide exactly what we are doing. We have already started packing up our stuff. All my walls in my house are bare. WEIRD! We're hoping to either buy a house, or build one. I think we've decided to aim at Lehi. We've looked around and Lehi seems to be a really nice place to live and the houses there are more affordable.

To those of you who have never made it down to see our house, I'm going to post some pictures of it. Mostly I'm posting the pictures for myself to remember it.

Oh sad that you are moving. But i know what you mean about being stuck in college years forever. Time to be your own family and be grown ups haha

You have "made your mark" on your house, especially difficult if you can't paint. It's "homey". I have family in Lehi and they love it. Close to everything, but not in everything. They live right behind Thanksgiving Point in that subdivision and it is surprisingly affordable. I'm not privy on other subdivisions. Kandis Carpenter thought they would end up there, and ended up in Sandy. Where ever you end up, you will make it "home". Mikele liked you as her Sunday school teacher in 19th ward. You have always been smiling here. There were to many in 19th ward for me to know anyone Steve wasn't related to or the families he knew in High School.

I just checked in again and I have to say that if you come to Lehi, you will LOVE it! We've been here a little over 4 years now and we love it. It's exactly what you're describing in Cedar--everyone the same age with kids the same age experiencing similar things in life. We live just south of Thanksgiving Point and it's been awesome. Good luck in your search. Maybe we'll see you in the 'hood.

You are lucky to be moving on past the 'college stage'. One more year for us!
But I will sooo miss you!! Savannah is going to have a hard time once she realizes Oaklyn's not just 'gone for the weekend'.

It is so hard to move, but I am sure it will be nice to move on (like you said!)

Your house is decorated beautifully--no wonder your friends have you decorate theirs too--if you lived closer, I would have you do mine.

Looks like you guys have been up to lots of fun. Your little ones are darling and getting so big!

Good luck on the house search!
