The new Ulrich family member

I couldn't help but post about my new niece. Ayla Rose was born Saturday morning. She was 4 lbs 3 oz. My brother and sister-in-law Chris and Staci, suddenly gave birth to their daughter Ayla after being hospitalized at 32 weeks. Luckily mom and baby are doing great, and we got the chance to go up and see them on a "spur of the moment" trip to Salt Lake on Saturday.

Ayla, although I haven't gotten to see her in person yet, is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I had to steal a few pictures of her so you could see her. I love her already, and when I heard of her birth, I BURST into tears. I love Chris and Staci so much, and the joy that I felt for them just completely overwhelmed me.

They deserve her so much. They are going to be the best parents ever. They had to try for her for about 6 years, and eventually got pregnant after their second try at invitro. I can't imagine all the things they went through, and I just had to share the GREAT news of their darling new addition.

Here is a cute picture of them so you can see!

Ayla will be in the NICU for next few weeks. Please join me in praying for her and her parents. I love you guys!

I love new babies! Too bad she will be in the NICU though.. hopefully all is well. Anyway, in response to your question on my blog I have lived in St. George for 5 years. Its the best, huh! We live in the middle of town kindof across the street from Target. Which of course, is not a good thing when I'm bored. My husband is a detective for St. George city. We met through some of his friends on the department. So, if you get pulled over.. wink .. wink.. throw my name out there. You may get lucky. Anyway, I'm so glad we are St. George friends. It really is my favorite place I've ever lived.

I occasionally check out the blog and a while ago I noticed a pic that looked like someone I knew. Turns out it was Chris. He and Staci used to live here in our ward in St. George and Staci was my VT companion I saw this news on her blog the other day I am so happy for them. Staci is the one of the sweetest people I have ever met you are so lucky to have a great sister in law. Congrats on the new addition for you all. hope you don't mind I was checking out your blog!
