I just finished the last Harry Potter book. I haven't read a book for pleasure for over three years. I didn't feel like I should be reading books instead of the ones that I needed to read for my Master's degree. It was a punishment I put on myself until I finished my thesis. I know, I'm a little psycho, but I knew how bad I wanted to finish. The book was better than I ever imagined, I LOVED IT! I've missed reading. If you haven't read the Harry Potter series, you are crazy.
On to the next book. Any suggestions? I heard the Twilight series is good, but I can't decide what to read next.

Do it. Read twilight. That way we can go to the movie together in December. I have the last books, so you just have to find the first one. It's easy quick reading and you don't have to wait for any sequels to come out, because on the 2nd the last on comes out! Do it, do it, do it:) No pressure:)
Oh, and I would have to agree with Becky. I really liked Stolen Innocence. Very interesting!

Twilight is a must read!!
READ TWILIGHT!!! People are right, it is completely addicting. Tell Danny and the kids goodbye for 3 days and come out to play when you are done reading all 3 books. Better hurry, the 4th one is out Saturday! Enjoy and we miss you guys!
I love twilight Brooke I know you would get sucked into it. :) Then you could come see the movie with me in December.
Oh dear, help me. The only downfall to reading the Twilight series is that you will be in LOVE with a cold, fictional vampire named Edward who will never bite your neck... Dan shouldn't be too worried! I am a huge fan, so I think you should take the plunge like the rest of us crazy girlies! :) But probably the BEST book I've ever read is 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini. 'The Lovely Bones' is also excellent. I am reading 'The Time Traveler's Wife' right now... it's interesting. I didn't read much for fun in college either (how IRONIC cuz I was an ENGLISH major!), and I'm starting my Master's this month... so it's depressing to think that I will be heading back into the Dark Ages of no pleasure reading again for a while! :( It sounds like you guys are doing well, and I'm so glad! Just promise me you'll come up for air, shower, and feed your kids once you start 'Twilight.' Have fun!
Twilight for sure:) If you want one that is a bit more structured and written SO WELL, read The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. It is one of the most interesting books I have ever read and not to mention it is WONDERFUL!

Brooke coming from a guy, the Twilight series SUCKED! Could Bella and Edward just GET IT ON ALREADY! But judging from all of the chick comments on here I'm sure you will love it, but it's definetly not for me. Go for something from David Baldacci, he's my new favorite author and since our cruise I've read 6 of his books this last month, good stuff.
