Today is Oaklyn's birthday!You might notice that August is quite a busy month for us. My birthday was on the 20th, Connelly's is on the 27th and Oaklyn's is the 29th! Dan always jokes that August makes him broke!
Oaklyn is turning five today! Wow, what an important milestone. She is officially old enough for school. I already wrote about Kindergarten a few posts ago, so I won't dwell on that, but I am still in shock.
Oaklyn LOVES playing with her friends, well, should I say boss her friends. :) She is a natural leader and seems to ALWAYS need to be in control. She is extremely competitive and always wants to win (even if it means winning to eat her cereal first).
A great thing about Oaklyn is that she gets excited easily. She always wants fun, fun, fun, and more fun. She is the first to suggest that we go swimming, or to a park, or...really anything but sit at home! Oaklyn's favorite food is probably cheese pizza. She loves to sing, and she LOVES swimming.
I am so proud to be your Mommy, sweetheart. You are wonderful little girl, and I love you so much.
